The preparatory meeting for the IYFF Campaign American Continental Gathering will be held in Mar del Plata (Argentina) on May 31. The American IYFF Continental Gathering will take place later this year.

This preparatory meeting will be held in the framework of the XIII REAF (Specialized Meeting on Family Farming of Mercosur) and will be attended by several representatives of institutions, agricultural and rural development organizations from Central and South America, in addition to the World Rural Forum Executive Secretary and Coordinator for America.

Besides this meeting, the IYFF Campaign will be presented in the XIII REAF in order to the countries´ delegations participants at the REAF know the current status of the Campaign and define concrete commitments to promote the same in each of the countries.
