During the trip was held a preparatory meeting of the American
Continental Meeting of the FFIY Campaign, reaching important
agreements. In this sense, the Continental Meeting will be hold in
Brasilia in late November 2010 in the framework of the XIV REAF,
relying mainly with the participation of many representatives of
agricultural and rural development NGOs. Organizers will be the WRF
and COPROFAM (Confederation of Family Farmers Expanded MERCOSUR),
with the collaboration of the REAF's Brazilian Section's
Secretariat.

During the XIII REAF's Meeting WRF's representatives had the
opportunity to held bilateral meetings with representatives of
government and agricultural organizations from Argentina, Brazil,
Chile, El Salvador, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay, with the aim of
presenting the current situation of the FFIY Campaign and seek
joint working strategies.
